Friends Without A Border’s sister office in Tokyo, Japan, opened in 1996.
After Kenro Izu founded Friends Without A Border in 1996, Friends Japan worked with Friends USA to make the dream of Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap, Cambodia, a reality. Friends Japan raised millions of dollars for Angkor Hospital for Children and currently collaborates in the fundraising efforts to support Lao Friends Hospital for Children in Luang Prabang, Laos.
